The following are several favorite books and websites that are full of evidence based information.

Many moms read breastfeeding and childcare books or attend a breastfeeding class, yet still find themselves unprepared to have a satisfying and successful breastfeeding experience.  We have lost a generation of breastfeeding mothers.  Today, far fewer women have family members with any positive nursing experiences.  It is common to find that establishing breastfeeding is at times more complex than they had anticipated.  A visit with an IBCLC, in the comfort of your own home, may help make the difference between a frustrating breastfeeding experience and an enjoyable, successful experience.  Often, many issues can be resolved with just one or two visits with an IBCLC, though some more complicated issues may take additional visits.
